1. The Monalisa Smile
Julia Roberts in her most stunning avatar, tries to convince a conservative-yet-curious bunch to learn how to live and question social mores. Her unconventional ways win over the academy that Roberts’ character enters as a teacher in, but at a dire personal cost. I think the film’s beautiful, especially her bond with the girls.
